SRO Artistic Director/Executive Director
Nancy S. Nocks
Nancy S. Nocks earned BA and MA degrees from The Ohio State University. Nancy has been the Musical Director for SRO since 1989. Retired from the Westerville City Schools, she has worked and performed in New York City, including Carnegie Hall and Town Hall. From 1982-1987 Nancy was Musical Director for Players Theatre Columbus where she received a number of Best Show Awards. She has also been Musical Director for CATCO, as well as the Press Club’s Gridiron Show, Doctor’s Hospital On Stage, Nationwide’s BroadWay Show, Columbus Light Opera, Theatre Lancaster, Lawyer’s Performance Ensemble, Red Herring and Childhood League’s annual Merry-Go-Round Musical Revue! Nancy is the Musical Director for the SRO Emmy Award winning show I Was Young…Now I’m Wonderful! She was also the Musical Director for the Touring show Oh Jackie!, for the premier of Ha! Ha! Club in Columbus, as well as the NYC Fringe Festival Off-Broadway three-week run. She is listed in the National Register’s Who’s Who with Executives and Professionals.

Ronald E. Nocks
Ronald E. Nocks earned his BS and MA degrees from The Ohio State University. During his forty plus years of teaching, he has directed over 100 plays and musicals, including SRO’s premier and critically acclaimed bilingual production of The Fantasticks. He also has directed professionally for Columbus Summer Theatre, Gallery Players, Hilliard Community Theatre and Westerville Community Theatre. He was director of the International Thespian Society and was inducted into the Educational Theatre Association as well as the Ohio Theatre Hall of Fame. He has performed leading roles for Players Theatre Columbus, Otterbein Summer Theatre, Hilliard Summer Theatre, Westerville Summer Theatre and SRO. Ron has also been featured soloist in Carnegie Hall and sang with "The Cecilian Singers", a professional choral group in Columbus, where he was also Vice President of the Board of Trustees. He’s played starring roles in several of SRO’s productions, including the highly acclaimed Taking Leave and A Grand Night For Singing.
